About the Adhyayana Kendra

Shankara Adhyayana Kendra is the brainchild of Sri K Nataraj, retired officer from the Ministry of Defence and an English Professor, resident of Sanjaynagar, Bangalore. It was formed in May 2003 as a Center to spread the awareness about Indian Philosophy and promote Carnatic Classical Music.

Samoohika Lalithasahasranama Pravachana/ Archane

Samoohika Lalithasahasranaama Japayagna/pravachana/pooja was organized under the direction of Sri Paramananda Bharati Swamiji starting 25th till 31st July 2008. The program was conducted under the joint auspices of Shankara Adhyayana Kendra and Sri Gayathri Parishat.











Swamiji delivered a lecture series on the Sri Lalithasahasranaama at the Siddhi Vinakayaka Temple Premises during the evenings starting 25th July till 31st July 2008. On the penultimate day about 200 sumangalis performed samoohika Lalithasahasranama Kumkumaarchana pooja.

Swamiji also gave lectures on Vedanta in morning between 7:30 & 8:30 AM at Shankara Adhyayana Kendra.
